RTB (Research to Build) is a multi-disciplinary design firm committed to creating spaces, systems, and experiences rooted in equity, wellness, and community. Blending expertise in architecture, fabrication, public space design, and health-focused environments, RTB works at the intersection of design, research, and impact.
We collaborate with institutions, communities, and brands to imagine and build spaces that are not only functional, but also healing, inclusive, and transformative.

Bunmi Fagbenro- Founder
Bunmi Fagbenro, Founder of RTB, holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture, graduating with the program’s Best Graduate Thesis for work on mobile housing for Black mothers in New York. With over a decade of architectural experience, her work spans healthcare, residential, and fabrication projects for various companies. She has been shortlisted for the Lexus Design Award, led production and design at Chanel, and contributed to projects across fashion, wellness, and architecture—all with a commitment to equity, innovation, and community impact.
